Triad Ball Valves for Chlorine Service
Triad manufactures ball valves for chlorine service. These valves are manufactured according to guidelines presented in Pamphlet 6 published by the Chlorine Institute titled Piping Systems For Dry Chlorine. The ball valves are manufactured out of carbon steel with Monel or Hastelloy C trim. A special hole is provided in the ball for venting excess pressure up-stream while in the closed position. This ensures that the process service is not trapped within the valve body.
